Professional Experience
PROFILE

Thank you for visiting this learning space and for taking time to get to know me... My name is Ms Alison Pinnock but students call me "Ms Alison." I am a Christian, grammar school educated practitioner with 19 + years of tutoring experience. I therefore have a strong grounding in education and a high regard for teaching and learning; always enjoying delivering quality and value to all students and clients. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management (BA); with a recommendation by the University of Westminster to engage an MPhil, leading to a PhD. Towards the end of my degree programme, I received wonderful news which led to me pausing my studies to home educate my child, who is now a scholarship music undergraduate (principal instrument being the piano), attending a conservatoire; by the Special Grace of God. Albeit I read Business Management at undergraduate level, I have always maintained a love of English Language and Literature; essentially working with words. I am committed to providing high value and a tailored experience of learning for children and young people in mainstream schools and who engage elective home education across ALL needs. I am dedicated to inclusivity. I have extensive work experience with children and young people, having tutored English and Mathematics for nearly 20 years. I currently work as a full-time Private Academic Tutor independently; which I love and feel honoured to do...
